what is it about me?

I guess it’s time for this page to be updated.

So. Hey, my name is Karina Utami Dewi. I was born in March 1st, 1989, and I’m the eldest child in the family. These are my family, who are the most important people in my life.

I spent my childhood in Bengkulu, a very small province in Sumatera. After I graduated highschool, I moved to Yogyakarta, and attended Universitas Gadjah Mada. I majored in International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and graduate on February 2011. I directly continued my education in Master Programs of International Relations on August 2011, still in the same faculty and university. Whole my life I met a lot of people who also shaped the way I am today and I consider them as quite influential. These are some of them. Very dear friends of mine.

And a “significant other”? Here he is.

I experienced a lot of things in my life, some are unforgettable, and I’m very lucky to be able to get certain experiences. I once was an exchange student in National University of Singapore on 2009, during which I stayed for 1 semester in Singapore, granted some scholarship, involved in some voluntary activities, met lots of lots incredible people, and got to travel to some Southeast Asian countries. In 2012, I granted a chance to be involved in a program by Japan Foundation, and stayed in Tokyo for 6 weeks. I dream to teach, to influence people (in a good way), and to be able to travel around the world. I’ve started from Southeast Asian, then East Asia, and next, who knows where will I be? One thing for sure, if that will ever happen, I’ll write everything about it here. Hoping my stories in some way can inspire people! :)
