Hospitalized

I’ve never been hospitalized for anything, until recently. Yep, remember my last post? I wrote: “I got sick for a few days now but I should be fine.”, it turned out that I wasn’t fine. A day after I wrote that post, I got a high fever then I went to the doctor. He gave some prescription, then I bought some medicine, then go home. But I felt so weak in both of my knees, and I didn’t feel any better cos I still got the fever, and it lasted for a couple of days. My Mom decided to come, but before she arrived with my sister, she told me to go to the hospital to see another doctor, and had my blood checked, and she was so assured that they’d tell me to stay in. But it turned out, no. The doctor gave me another prescription, and I bought some medicine again, because the result of the blood check was okay. I should be fine, that was still what I think that time. But I still felt weak. And still had high fever. I even started having weird dreams, which I think caused by the fever. My Mom arrived, and she decided to bring me back to the hospital again, but I couldn’t barely stand up or even moved from my bed (well, hotel room’s bed, where my Mom and my sister stayed, but you know what I mean, and that’s not exactly the point. The bed, I mean). So, instead, we went to the hospital the following day. And it turned out that I should stay in. And that sucked. Because I’m not a big fan of medication, needle, or injection (no one does, I think). But I got no choice. I was suffered from dengue fever as well as typhoid. And a little bit of heartburn for my bad eating habit. Oh, and my eyes. Yeah, before the high fever, my eyes were also sick, and it hasn’t recovered until the day I got hospitalized. So, you may say I got suffered from multiple diseases. Yay! No.

So I was in there for about 5 days. And I should tell you it was not a pleasant experience. It’s not hard to keep yourself healthy, but once you got sick, it won’t be cheap. And even now I still can see the needle marks on my skin where they injected me to have some of my blood, every single day while I was still taken care of in the hospital. I was lucky to have my Mom, my sister, my brother, Bang Rizza, and my lovely friends around. So the hospital wasn’t as creepy as it really is. But still, I don’t wanna go back. None of us should be in there. Keep healthy, people. Keep healthy! (says someone who didn’t take care of her health, hehe. Ah, the beauty of an irony)

DBD!

Aamiin…
